If you mix street knowledge, lyrical talent, & education together you
get A.Driver. Born on June 25th, 1988 as Amir Driver in Norfolk, VA,
A.Driver began rapping at the tender age of 11. As he entered high
school his passion for music was placed on display numerous times
at cafeteria cyphers and after school battles. While in high school
A.Driver released a three part mixtape series entitled "A Is The Letter".
After releasing the first mixtape of the series his popularity amongst
his peers began to grow giving him more exposure and notoriety for his
craft. After graduating from high school in 2006, Driver took
another step away from his competitors by releasing his first street
album titled "Designated Driver". Designated Driver displayed A.
Driver's uncanny wit, lyrical skill, and impeccable song writing
capabilities.
A.Driver, who is now 22 years old, and the President of his own record
label, Strike Force Records LLC, which he and partner Steve Jones
established in 2007, is once again back in the studio working on a long
awaited second street album, not yet to be named, and has released
two highly acclaimed mixtapes "Summer School" released Summer 2009
and "The Orientation" released Summer 2010 with all original music.
A.Driver is clearly setting himself apart from the rest and creating a brand
that will be around for years to come. The future is now & it can easily
be called A.Driver!!!!
